Adam Kozin. ND.
Adam Kozin ND is a naturopathic oncology resident at Naturopathic Specialists, LLC. Dr. Kozin graduated with honors from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences (SCNM) in June 2017. Prior to that Dr. Kozin was a student at the clinic observing patient care and interacting with Drs. Rubin and Coats. He has a special interest in metabolic therapies and their use in individuals with cancer, as well as, other chronic diseases. He strives to merge his passions of naturopathic and integrative oncology along with research and traditional medicine into clinical practice
Dr. Kozin was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and prior to attending SCNM he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the Concordia University of Edmonton. While completing his undergraduate degree Dr. Kozin worked in the Imaging department of the Royal Alexandra Hospital. His experiences there combined with his own family struggles with cancer led Dr. Kozin to naturopathic medicine.
While attending SCNM Dr. Kozin became heavily involved with the research department leading to his involvement at both SCNM and Arizona State University (ASU), and ultimately publications in multiple scientific journals. Dr. Kozin has also had the opportunity to present his research findings around the country at conferences such as the Symposium of Integrative Oncology and the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians. His current research focuses on topics in integrative oncology as well as the effects of ozone on microorganisms.
Dr. Kozin is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, The Society for Integrative Oncology, and the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the latter where he serves on the research committee.
