I was diagnosed with pots put on numerous medication’s that I did not need from a different doctor, but once I started getting seen by doctor.Mele At Aspen integrative it completely changed my life. She is kind, thorough, patient and her treatment protocols are both gentle and effective! I have felt heard, understood, and supported every step of the way, and finally see light at the end of a tunnel. Dr. Mele is so kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. Jane, Amelia, and Nurse Aaron are professional and genuinely caring. Recently, I contracted pneumonia and went to the office for an acute visit. I was able to have my bloodwork done there in the clinic and Dr. Mele responded with a balanced approach by prescribing needed conventional medicines as well as natural remedies. My husband was with me and was so impressed with the whole experience that he said he would rather pay more to go there than go to a regular clinic. I was feeling pretty low and stressed about ongoing stomach issues that I couldn’t figure out. This is my first experience working with a naturopath and it’s been a process. But I can feel things shifting in me. It feels like we are excavating some deeper issues, so other symptoms have been popping up, but I have been experiencing definite progress. It’s a wholistic experience, not a quick fix. I’ve been doing a lot of emotional processing along the way and allowing myself to be right where I am at. I am grateful for Dr. Mele - her knowledge, wisdom and compassion. This has all felt very vulnerable and I feel like I have a true ally in the process. Highly recommend.JtJanuary 8, 2026Great place! Finally a doctor who doesn’t just have you in and out and make you feel like a number. They saw me for over a whole hour and listened to everything I had to say for my cancer treatment and therapy, also did the hyperbaric oxygen therapy which not only was affordable but also went really well and felt good during the entire process. Best place I’ve been to in a whileTrista RJanuary 8, 2026Update: I received more answers with Dr. Mele in 30 minutes than I did at the ER on New Year’s Eve. It’s been 24 hours and I am feeling so much better. Not sure what this evil virus/sickness is that’s going around, but what Dr. Mele did and prescribed has helped immensely. And I super appreciate the fact that I was able to bring my health advocate (the spouse) and that was welcomed. We all need support and for that support to be honored. Go to Aspen if you want to be treated like a real human and not just another insurance claim. After 10 years of being ignored, I am finally getting answers and treatment. If you are tired of being put in a box, misdiagnosed, and told it's all in your head, you need Aspen. Professional, kind, caring, and well educated with verifiable resources...I am so happy I found Apsen! As a local practitioner, I have also referred patients to her and they have had great experiences with her care. She is thorough and thoughtful and has many tools to care for people. Two years ago I had an MRI that showed no structural damage to the knee but it still hurt. I went to see Dr Despres at Aspen Integrative and he recommended Prolozone therapy. I researched it and it sounded like a good option so I had an injection. Immediately after the injection the pain is gone and it generally last for 3 to 4 months but I understand it could heal completely.Christine WSeptember 4, 2025Dr. Despres at Aspen Integrative is the best doctor I’ve ever had. He truly listens and always meets me where I’m at. What I appreciate most is that he lets me take an active role in my own protocol instead of just telling me what to do. Encouraging us to start with good support to my system is the priority over harsh treatments protocols our bodies can’t handle. Dr. Mele was the first Doctor who really listened to me. For the first time in forever I am finally feeling more like myself! A few months ago I had a lightbulb moment and connected 34 years of issues and it became very clear to me I might have a specific disorder. I wanted to go through insurance at the time, but after speaking to Dr. Mele on the phone it became so clear to me time is money, and you can't put a price on the value of being heard and taken seriously. She didn't get offended or challenged when I walked in with ideas and thoughts of my own health issues, she listened and validated and was quick to confirm what I already knew. I am so grateful of her approach and willingness to being a team when it comes to my health, and offering new perspectives and strategies to tackle my concerns. The Doctor is excellent and so is his staff. I have also started hyperbaric treatments. You do spend some money here because insurance doesn't cover it. That's going to be the only downside for me. I had horrible undiagnosed gut issues, and after meeting with two gastroenterologists that were not able to diagnose the problem, I found Dr. Paul. He put me on a regimen of supplements to help me with my gut, and proceeded to work with me also on vitamin deficiencies and my osteoporosis. The result has been a complete reduction of all gut symptoms (turned out I had SIBO), and a significantly better energy level and quality of life thanks to Dr. Paul. A special shout out to his lovely and competent assistant Jane. She is whip smart and always responsive.
